Windows Mobile PDA Smartphone with 3. 2 Touch Screen
Smartphone – The Boss
The buzzword these days has changed dramatically and is not limited to making phone calls alone. Smartphone is a tech-savvy providing a series of functions comprising of Internet access and has the aptitude of receiving and sending mails, besides editing word documents. It is a summit of the traditional cell phone and PDAs (personal digital assistants). Mobile phones with the progress of technology gained a galore of features and PDA also extended its capabilities that eventually came as two in one as Smartphone in a single, portable package.
The features of a Smartphone are varied in each model and based on these features is the commanding price. However, certain requirements are a must to be considered while buying a Smartphone to match the hottest trend technology.
The working system:
Generally, the working system of a Smartphone is judged as per its productivity applications. There are Smartphones running a version of Linux, which are struggling to compete with other models featured with Apple or Windows operating system. Looking for a Smartphone is appropriate only after considering the many software applications, as it should successfully provide access to all the features to prove its name.
The essential features of the smartphones are highly popular based on the working systems that are created by Symbian Foundation. It contains a framework employing common applications and the advantage is its friendly interface that can be found on the line of Nokia’s product of smartphones. RIM is also a vastly popular system exclusively used on Blackberry, while the iTunes store features Apple that is facilitated with accelerometers enabling tilting the phone sideways as well. Apart from this, the touch screen also sets a large competing line as it facilitates finger gestures such as tapping, sliding and pinching the screen.
Software:
The majority of mobile phones include software and smartphones have transformed to a complete new level such that it gives the feature to create as well as edit Microsoft office documents, edit photos, download applications, access GPS navigation system and also create digital tunes play list. The recent explosion is that the modern smartphones are featured with touch screen and are literally having scaling software with downloadable applications for anything that you name.
Web access:
Smartphone is a tech-smart device offering internet access for 24/7, and this feature is highly appreciated by the demanding public. The modern smartphones facilitate accessing web at great speeds owing to the 3G data networks development, besides the WiFi support addition.
QWERTY keyboard:
Another brilliant feature of the smartphones that makes it more special and hot refers to sending emails through phone using the QWERTY keyboard. This can very well be an added part of the hardware or can also come as a part of the screen that is available as touch screen phones.
Messaging:
Mobile phones also feature sending and receiving text messages, but the smartphones are one step ahead as they receive email. Topping this, are the other features of smartphones that offers access to instant messaging sites such as Yahoo messenger or MSN.
Smartphone does not highlight only the technology as it features the application of the technology that has resulted in emerging with a device that does beyond sending and receiving phone calls and also taking dreadful photos. Smartphone can be referred to as the palm pilot as it is a technology that has a combination of various features, besides being lightweight and easy to operate. However, caution is required from dropping it on some hard surface.

5 European Investment Reasons for Panama
I remember vividly a time when real estate in Europe was hot. I was studying economics in Madrid and my professor, a young German guy named Knut, described houses and condos as amazing like toilet paper. But since then, many of those great investments have disappeared like an elephant in a Houdini act, and today, Europe’s investors are looking to Panama for answers.
1. A strong currency: With the Euro recently flirting around record highs against the US dollar, Europeans are clearly more inclined to invest abroad. Using online agencies and a plethora of international banks, investing in Panama is even being done from the luxury of home, with several PR firms and satellite companies opening up shop in several major European cities.
2. The descent of traditional tax havens: Places like Lichtenstein and Luxemburg, once notable tax havens in Europe are now under fire and with the EU demanding bank secrecy laws to be changed concerning tax evasion, residents are looking desperately for new, safe locales to position their money. Panama, as an offshore refuge, shows up as a gleaming blip on these radars.
3. The softening of European real estate markets: Once-booming investment markets, specifically in Eastern Europe have now leveled off, to the point that in some cases, real estate earns less than a bank deposit. A region, not but five years ago, deemed to be one of the hottest real estate prospects in the world, is now overheated; these investors are looking for a new spot on the map to get in early, and are turning to Panama.
4. Familiarity: While rural regions like Las Tablas (Los Santos) may not have too many similarities to your everyday village in Brugge, certain coastal areas do have a tendency to remind Europeans of home. And when it comes to city living, many flock to Casco Viejo where open plazas and Spanish/French architecture seem to echo the Europe of yesterday; before prices rose through the roof. Whereas living in the center of the old city might not be financially viable any more in Europe, Casco contrastingly provides these investors with tremendous upside.
5. Increased direct flights: With KLM soon to be offering their new services and IPAT encouraging the tapping of such niche European markets, more and more direct flights into Tocumen Airport are destined to be announced in the near future. This means one, sometimes several less legs on the journey that so many Europeans are already making to the Republic.
When I first moved to Europe, it was pouring outside so I bought a pint of beer in a London pub for $11. Bad weather and high costs of living are also reasons that countries like England have seen more people leaving than ever before. Citizens are simply looking elsewhere for a cheaper real estate and a more affordable standard of living.
While one might assume this European interest is limited to the investments mentioned above, that is not the case. Pre-construction condo sales in Panama City are seeing a revival thanks to Europeans, webmasters are registering increased web traffic from European soil, and tourism businesses are booked thanks to European travel agencies reservations for large groups. And while some may have predicted this influx, I doubt anyone would have expected it this heavy and this soon. Better late than never, real estate in Panama is all set to walk in through the golden phase of prosperity.

When traveling it is essential to plan ahead, so when you arrive at your destination, you lessen the chances of being at a loss of what to do. Knowledge gained from others travel can be invaluable, especially when planning to travel to somewhere you have never been before. The advice on this page is helpful to everyone planning a trip to Costa Rica.
Money
The money used in Costa Rica is called colons. You can change dollars into colons at the airports in San Jose and local banks. The exchange rates can be from the low 200s to 400s colons for each US dollar. (Now everywhere in Costa Rica you can buy or pay in US dollars, but I think things are cheaper if you pay in colons.) Other ways you might get colons is if you pay for something in US dollars, you will receive change in colons. During my stay at Costa Rica, I once paid a cab driver in US money, and I received change in the local currency. You should also make sure your dollars are not torn. Local banks and businesses do not accept torn US dollars. I tried to exchange a torn $50 bill, and the bank would not accept it!
-Bringing Money
On my trip I brought my half my money in dollars and American Express cheques. When a traveler cheque is used there will be a commission fee.
When to visit/weather
Costa Rica has two seasons – the dry season and the green season (or rainy season). The dry season is from December to March. The dry season is the busiest time in Costa Rica. Prices are much higher and it is harder to find a place to stay. Now in the green season you will find much cheaper prices. The green season is from April to November. During the rainy season it generally rains for a few hours and then clears up.
Traveling within Costa Rica
Bus – You can catch one to most parts of the country. There are a few places where the bus comes only once a day though…
Cab – There are red cabs throughout the country. If the cab driver tells you the meter is broker, just get out. First it is illegal for a cab driver to drive with a broken meter in Costa Rica; secondly he might just be trying to rip you off.
Renting a Car – You can rent a car, but to me personally I would find driving in Costa Rica difficult, since I’m not from the country and it seems there are a lack of street signs. Also the prices for a car rental can be pretty expensive.
Local airlines – You can catch local flights to places throughout Costa Rica. They are regularly scheduled and reasonably inexpensive.

The Honeymoon Hotspots: Where You Need To Go
Ocean Holiday Trip
Zanzibar-Tanzania
This is where Arabia meets Africa for it was here the marriage of the Arabs with the natives gave birth to a new people and language, the Swahili.
Zanzibar islands (Unguja), off Tanzania coast located in Indian Ocean, boasts miles of golden beaches. It’s a superb holiday destination. Here heavens meet earth. Establish an empathy with the transparent blue ocean and feel the cool breeze going through your every pore, and chances are you might pen a poem.
There are three islands, besides several islets, that together make up the archipelago of Zanzibar: the main island Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia. You could opt for a holiday package of these islands where pleasure, fun and business could result. Visit Zanzibar’s historic Stone Town, and (or) relax on one of 25 dazzling white, palm-fringed beaches, where the azure waters of the Indian Ocean beckon swimmers, divers, fishermen and water sports fans alike.
Spice plantations, Jozani Forest, snorkeling, fishing or simply floating, prison island will all keep you amused. And, remember, this is the place where you get the best spices at cheapest prices. Not for nothing it is called ‘the spice islands.’ And if you believe in living in style, there is Karafuu Hotel, reputed to be the best.
Kenya
Kenya is a very romantic country and an ideal honeymoon destination (and marriage location too! Marriages are arranged on the beaches) to celebrate your love and begin your life’s journey together. Boasting of 300 miles of white sand beaches, Kenya offers the ocean lovers every chance and every taste. Mombasa, Kiwayu, Malindi, Watamau, Shela, Lamu… the list goes pretty long. Sporting 50 game parks and reserves, Kenya also proffers the thrill-seekers and honeymooners a shot of adrenalin by sighting very many games. Better still, it could also be a two-in-one of ocean and countryside holiday because both equally enticing.
South Africa
Surrounded by ocean three sides, South Africa, has a 3,000 km coastline with thousands of beaches, each one appears more alluring than others. So if you’re after a beach holiday, you only need to decide what kind, and choose the beach. The West Coast has some amazing beaches—long and lonely– where you can walk for miles and not see another person. Since rains are rare, the West Coast provides ideal spot to work on your sun tan. Probably the best West Coast destinations are Langebaan, Paternoster and, for surfers, Elands Bay.
Mozambique
Lapping at the Indian Ocean, Mozambique is one of Africa’s rising stars, with an upbeat atmosphere, overflowing markets and a 2500km coastline waiting to be discovered. Why Mozambique became a hotspot for lovers is because of its fabulous beaches. However, when you combine the ocean front holidays with a safari in the Krugar national park, the trip becomes complete, and your lover can’t ask for more.
Namibia
The other side of Africa, Namibia in the West, is known for its contrasting landscape–breathtaking ocean view, endless vista of desert dunes, rocky plains, fertile patches inhabited by sparse population. An enigma, it never fails to enthrall the visitor.
Come with us on a Namibian discovery. Watching the magic of nature in the man-made comfort of best hospitality is something you will carry back home and tuck it away in the corner of your mind, to be taken out and savored at will.

Finding Air Fare Deals in Today’s Market
How to create a basic event budget
In the competitive market realities of today, event planners need to employ budgeting strategies in order to stay organized and better equipped to anticipate client inquiries. Constructing an event planning budget enables an organization to find the best deals and to meet its priorities by determining the feasibility of the event in terms of available resources, cost and return on investment. In that way, event planners are able to determine the actual cost of the event versus the actual investment and decide, in real time, on how to save money on event planning.
Typically, an event planning budget is constructed in an Excel Spreadsheet or with the use of event budget software. Technologically advanced organizations prefer the use of software because they can better monitor the collection and integration of business data, which leads to better management of corporate expense policies and cost-effective decision making.
With event planning budget, event planners can generate a variety of standard and customized reports that track expenses by category and sub-category, expenses by vendor, as well as projected, negotiated and actual expense reports.
In order to track expenses by category with accurate projections, event planners base their estimates on historical data. One of the most common methods is to calculate the average spending on food and beverage at the past ten events; or to calculate the percentage of beverage cost that was attributed to non-alcoholic choices. Such metrics are customizable and facilitate the budgeting process because they break down the budget in critical parts, offering room for further negotiations.
The customization of sub-categories offers the opportunity to obtain data intelligence. Typically, event planners run customized reports that track corporate travel expenses. One of the most common methods is to calculate the percentage of travel budget that is attributed to rental cars, to air fares, to hotel accommodation, to event facility and all related expenses. In addition, event planners sub-categorize transportation charges including any percentage of the budget that is used for event transfers, coaches, shuttles and any related expenses.
Similarly like in the category expenses, the projections of expenses by vendor are based on historical data. Event planners are able to determine the percentage of their spending with specific vendors over a period of time. In this part of the budget, event planners include expenses for décor such as floral, tents, centerpieces etc, catering expenses, and entertainment & equipment expenses such as audiovisual equipment. Typically, catering expenses account for the 30 percent of the budget.
Event planning budget includes also smaller categories that summarize expenses made for invitations, program booklets, banners, name badges, event signage, gifts for the guests, and separate activities such as spa, tennis, biking etc. Normally, the total cost of these expenses accounts for the 25 percent of the total budget, depending on the size and the complexity of the event.
When all amounts are included in the budget spreadsheet or software, event planners can summarize projected, negotiated and actual expenses. Projected expenses will be negotiated with the client in order to take the final decision. Actual expenses are invoiced after the event is held.
Constructing an event planning budget is a powerful tool. However, highly professional event planners track down event costs and collect business intelligence data in a comprehensive and innovative way that depicts their fundamental role in effective cost reduction. Their contribution to successful budgeting in not just effective tracking of expenses, but the utilization of event management tools incorporated into event planning budgeting. In that way, they possess potent capabilities in showing to their clients how their money is being spent and collected in relation to every component of the budget.
I would like to stay at a 4-5 star all-inclusive resort with an amazing beach that is close to a lot of day trips that I would like to do like;
Rainforest
Cloud Forest
Hot Springs
Waterfall
Nature Cruise
Wetlands
Volcano
Zip Line
papagayo, by any chance? I stayed there and the beach was very calm and the hotel was pretty good. You’ll like all the vegetation. If you’re with the older crowd then you should do fine in the hotel-which is what i did the first time with my family. But then I went with some friends to Tamarindo for some surfing, and i have to say it was much better. The hotel wasn’t anything facy, but it wasn’t a dump either. We stayed at Laguna del Cocodrilo, it’s owned by some french people. They have a bakery inside which saves you all the trouble of getting some breakfast. It’s really a nice place to stay, very clean.
I went to the Hot Springs and did a lot of bus tours the first time around. If you decide to rent a car keep in mind the roads are pretty bad, so consider getting a 4WD if you’re going to the more rural areas.
Nature in Costa Rica is everywhere. I visited primarily to see the nature of this Central American country and was not disappointed. Pleasantly, because the wildlife leads to so much ecotourism in Costa Rica, the local people are generally very supportive of the nature there and work fiercely to protect it.
Currently, scientists calculate that around 25% of Costa Rica is now protected in the form of National Parks or privately-owned nature reserves. Conservationists from around the world flock to Costa Rica and have been of great help to the Costa Rican people in protecting the habitats and animals of Costa Rica.
There are currently 35 National Parks covering every habitat in Costa Rica and animals and plants can be seen almost countrywide. Without exception you have to pay a small fee to enter any of the parks – $10 seems like an average sum though some can be considerably higher or lower and of course taking a guide for the day will likely add an additional $20-30 onto the cost of your day out.
However, this money is spent in the right places and helps to support the environment and local communities.
Due to differences in altitudes and rainfall (plus having two coasts – the wetter Caribbean coast plus the drier Pacific coast) there are huge differences in the habitats present for nature in Costa Rica which not surprisingly affects the animals and plants you may see there.
Whilst wildlife can be seen anywhere there will always be certain areas that are better than others. So the first question really to consider when it comes to nature in Costa Rica is what it is that you’d actually like to see in particular? Or would you like to just generally see some animals?
If you make a “hotlist” of the animals you’d like to see, the next aspect is grabbing some of the wildlife guide books available (Field Guide To The Wildlife Of Costa Rica by C. Henderson is my personal favourite) so you can work out the best places to actually see the animals you’re after.
To give you some ideas of what you may see, here is just a sampling of what I saw in Costa Rica last time: mexican spiny porcupine, anteater, monkeys, macaws, iguana, caimen, tarantulas, quetzals, coatis and agoutis. As I say, this is just a tiny sampling of all the amazing creatures there.
Top wildlife spotting areas if you are in need of some inspiration are Monte Verde, Manual Antonio and Corcovado, though be aware this last option is to remote that it can be difficult and expensive to get to, and facilities once you get there are likely to be basic at best. Even an Internet connection or reliable electricity may be too much to ask for in the far south of Costa Rica where jaguar and tapirs roam free.
Monte Verde and Manuel Antonio make a far more civilized start to seeing Costa Rican natural history where you can spend your daytime sweating in the rainforest, and your evenings relaxing in a bar, restaurant or, if you’re lucky, by a resfreshing pool.
At the biological crossroads of the Americas, Costa Rica hosts one of the widest varieties of plants in the wold, with habitats ranging from tidal mangrove swamps, and lowland rainforests, to dry tropical evergreen and deciduous forests. Field Guide to Plants of Costa Rica is a must-have reference guide for beginner and expert naturalists alike. It provides a thorough survey of more than 850 plant…
