Zip lining in Costa Rica What activities do you recommend in Punta Cana for a mom (49) and son (17)? We’ll be there from 4/12-4/19.
Son very active, mother somewhat less, but still adventurous (have been snorkeling in USVI and zip lining in Costa Rica). Thinking about parasailing, or maybe small speed boats. Best locations? Or other suggestions? Thanks !!!

You can do para sailing, and you must visit Saona Island this simply fantastic, you can go on Safari (with the Monster Trucks) If you like you can visit Alto de Chavon (near La Romana and close to Casa de Campo) there are many things to do. But if you buy the tours, first check out the prices! In the hotels and with tour operators they are more expensive so look well before buying. Other thing, take some us currency with you (airport) and later you can always redraw from a cashier so never change money on the street! and never at the hotel (bad rate).

I enjoy golf, spectator sports (particulary baseball), restaurants, bars/nightclubs, playing poker. The trip would be for a week anywhere but the megalopolis tour which would probably require two weeks. There’s no right or wrong answer, your opinion counts.
I would be going by myself.
Come and visit Seattle! It’s lovely and green here. There is a lot to do, and a lot to see. We do have rain here, but it’s nothing that a Polar-tec jacket can’t deal with, and it seldom rains HARD. You can see all the standard stuff – the Space Needle, Mount Rainier (not far away from Seattle at all), Mount St. Helens (a little further away), Puget Sound and the ferries that cross it. We have lots of things like botanical gardens, museums, the Seattle aquarium, tours, boat trips, whale-watching, and of course we have the Mariners and the Seahawks. If you want to go a little further, there’s the Hoh Rainforest, the Pacific coast (totally amazing this time of year), trips to Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., Indian Reservations, hiking. There’s also good night life here, especially if you’re into the jazz scene. It’s just plain hard to run OUT of things to do here! Seatac is also a comparatively small airport and is easy to deal with.
Whatever you decide, have a safe and enjoyable trip!

Kiki Taking A Shower Do they like the shower? Should i give them a shower?
ok, now, as you know i have 2 birds, (GIRL:kiki BOY: Zeeb) I gave them a shower. They screeched and chirped. i sat them on the curtain. I dont know if they liked it or not! I took Zeeb on my finger and set him on the bottom on the shower while the water was on. He walked and tried to fly away, but he was wet, so he couldnt. kiki was still on the curtain rod. i put him on the rod and got out. i blow dried him. he seemed to like that part. im gonna try the shower again tonight. or, should i use the sink? or maybe nothing at all? Please Help!

My birds, all 4 of them, love their showers1 Okay, the African grey is not so fond of it but he tolerates it! If they are large/medium birds make sure they have a sturdy perch. My cockatiel loves tepid water in a pie pan. Just let them do their thing; use no soap! They need the natural oils in their feathers!

Costa Rica House for Rent am i setting a bad example???????????????help!!!!!!!!?
have a three year old son he has been living with my parents for last 2 years but they retiered and moved to costa rica few months ago . i live close to my college campus my parents pay for college and books/ rent sometimes still but i live next door to a frat house and live with three guy friends and work. the partys offten make noise and sometimes the party is in my apartment. i dont party with them but my son dylan seems to be finding it hard to adapt.
how can i tell my guy friends to keep it down or too not party in the apartment.
they are good friend and even babysit sometimes and i cant afford to move!!
my son lives with me know full time.
thank god for campus daycare during the day
my parents wont give me anymore money they think its my problem
i do not part my roomates do
Well, I don’t know how to judge that situation, but I personally wouldn’t party in front of my child.
